ARCTIC Freezer 36 — Push-Pull Tower Cooler with LGA1851 / LGA1700 Contact Frame
A single-tower air cooler built around four 6 mm copper heatpipes and a 59-fin aluminium stack, with two ARCTIC P12 PWM PST fans in push-pull that spin from 200 to 1800 rpm and stop completely below 5% PWM. Intel builds get ARCTIC's LGA1851 / LGA1700 contact frame in the box, AMD builds mount on AM5 and AM4, and a 0.8 g tube of MX-7 paste is included. Intel has tested and confirmed the Freezer 36 on the i9-13900K, i9-14900K and i9-13900KS.

Below 5% PWM both fans stop entirely, so a light-load office or study PC can run without fan noise, while fluid dynamic bearings keep wear and bearing noise low over years of use.
Clip-Free Click Mounting for Both Fans
The inset shows ARCTIC's click system: the 120 mm fans lock into the heatsink without wire clips, so they can be fitted or swapped even with the cooler already installed — and most standard 120 mm fans fit.
Contact Frame Replaces Intel's ILM
Intel's stock loading mechanism presses the CPU at two points with over 40 kg and can bend it. ARCTIC's frame swaps it out, avoids that deformation and lets the cooler screw onto the CPU backplate.
Open-Sided Fin Stack for Extra Airflow
The 59 aluminium fins are open at the sides, so the rear pull fan draws extra cool air from inside the case through the heatsink rather than only what the front fan pushes in.
P12 Fan Bearing Built for Longevity
The cutaway shows the fan's bearing: an alloy and lubricant combination developed in Germany reduces friction, prevents lubricant loss and limits pin and sleeve wear for lower noise and longer life.
