ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QM5A: 23.8" Full HD Fast IPS at 240Hz
A 23.8-inch esports monitor built for frame rate. The 1920 × 1080 Fast IPS panel refreshes at up to 240Hz with a 0.3ms (min.) response time, and ELMB Sync runs motion-blur reduction together with variable refresh. It is G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium certified, covers 99% sRGB, and has two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and 2 W stereo speakers.
Built for Competitive Shooters
At 23.8 inches the whole Full HD image stays inside your field of view, which is why esports players favour this size. Run 240Hz with G-SYNC Compatible or FreeSync Premium, turn on ELMB Sync for clearer motion, and use Shadow Boost to lift dark corners without washing out the rest of the scene.
Two HDMI Ports for PC and Console
Keep a gaming PC on DisplayPort 1.4 and plug a console or laptop into either HDMI 2.0 port, both rated up to 240Hz by ASUS. The built-in 2 W stereo speakers cover desk audio, and the TÜV-certified flicker-free and Low Blue Light backlight makes long sessions easier on the eyes.
Hardware Craftsmanship & Visual Innovations
23.8" Full HD Fast IPS at 240Hz
Front view of the anti-glare 23.8-inch panel with its slim bezels. It is 1920 × 1080 Fast IPS with 178° viewing angles, 300 nits typical brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, rated at 1ms GTG and 0.3ms minimum response.
Low-Profile Tripod Stand
Angled view of the panel on its split-leg stand. ASUS rates the stand for tilt from -5° to +23°; it does not adjust in height, and the panel takes a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount if you want an arm.
DisplayPort 1.4, Two HDMI 2.0 and Speakers
The rear shell with the TUF Gaming logo above the central VESA area. The downward-facing bay holds one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 inputs and the earphone jack, and the monitor has 2 W × 2 speakers built in.
Motion Clarity & Speed Matrix
Maximum refresh rate from ASUS's official specifications, for the ASUS monitors at AHW Store. Bar length = maximum refresh rate.
