BenQ MA270U: 27" 4K Nano Matte Monitor for MacBook
The 27-inch MA. Its 3840 × 2160 IPS panel packs 163 pixels per inch, close to the sharpness of a Mac's own screen, under BenQ's Nano Matte anti-reflection coating. It covers 95% P3 and 99% sRGB, reaches 400 nits with VESA DisplayHDR 400, and one USB-C cable delivers video, data and 90 W charging. Display Pilot 2 links the Mac keyboard's brightness and volume keys to the monitor.
A Second Screen That Looks Like Your Mac
At 163 PPI, macOS scales text on the MA270U as crisply as on a MacBook display, and the M-book colour mode matches the MacBook's look, so windows do not change character when you drag them across. One USB-C cable charges the MacBook at up to 90 W and connects the monitor's USB ports.
Photo, Web and Document Work
Display P3 and sRGB modes cover photo editing and web design, ICCsync switches the colour profile along with the mode, and ePaper and Coding modes help with long reading and programming sessions. Pivot it to portrait for documents and code; Auto Pivot rotates the picture for you.
Hardware Craftsmanship & Visual Innovations
Plug In and Get the Right Colours
BenQ shows the MA270U beside a MacBook with the same wallpaper on both screens. The M-book mode tunes the panel to the MacBook's colour, and ICCsync loads the matching profile, so the two displays look alike from the moment you connect.
A Hub That Connects Everything
A MacBook, an iPad and a phone sit around the monitor in BenQ's image. The USB-C link brings the monitor's 5 Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports to the Mac, and the downstream USB-C port charges a phone or tablet at 15 W.
Ports Labelled on the Back
Two HDMI 2.0 inputs, the 90 W USB-C port, a 15 W USB-C port, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack, the power button and the 5-way controller, all on one row under the panel.
Portrait Mode with Auto Pivot
BenQ's drawing shows the panel turned 90° to portrait, 689.3 mm tall and 367.7 mm wide. Auto Pivot rotates the picture with the screen, which suits code, long documents and vertical web pages.
Pixel Density Comparison
Pixels per inch from BenQ's official specifications, for BenQ monitors at AHW Store. Higher means sharper text and photos at the same viewing distance.
