FIFINE AmpliGame AM8 Dynamic Microphone — USB-C and XLR, RGB
A cardioid dynamic mic for streaming, podcasts and voice chat that plugs into a PC over USB-C or into a mixer or audio interface over XLR. Tap-to-mute, gain and headphone volume knobs, live monitoring and an RGB ring.
What It Does Well
50 Hz - 16 kHz, Over 80 dB SNR
FIFINE's figures: a 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response tuned for the voice, a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB, -50 dB sensitivity and up to 120 dB maximum SPL.
RGB Ring with Three Modes
The light ring under the grille runs a breathing gradient, a dynamic multi-colour gradient or a static single colour, set with the RGB button on the mic. It remembers your choice.
Balanced XLR for Mixers and Interfaces
Over XLR the AM8 works with an audio mixer or interface like any dynamic mic. In this mode the mute and RGB functions are off and gain is set on the interface; FIFINE suggests speaking 2 to 6 inches away. The XLR cable is sold separately.
Controls on the Mic
Over USB you get a mic gain knob, a headphone volume knob, a 3.5 mm monitoring jack to hear yourself live, and a tap-to-mute pad with an LED reminder.
