Highlights
What It Does Well
Golden Ombre, Docked
The faceplate fades from gold at the top to black at the grips, with gold sticks, D-pad and a gold GameSir logo on the dock. The controller sits on the included charging dock, which tops up its 1200 mAh battery between sessions.
Mag-Res TMR Sticks
GameSir calls the G7 Pro the first Xbox controller with TMR sticks. They read the stick magnetically, so they do not wear into drift, and a 12-bit ADC chip gives 4,096 levels of position at a 1000 Hz polling rate on PC.
Magnetic Faceplate, Swappable D-pad
The faceplate comes off in three magnetic parts with no tools. Under it, the ABXY buttons are optical micro switches and the D-pad is a mechanical micro switch whose cap can be swapped for one of the two D-pads in the box.
Four Extra Buttons
Two mini bumpers next to the shoulder buttons and two back buttons give four extra inputs you can map in GameSir Nexus. The back buttons lock away when you do not want them.

FAQ
Product Questions & Store Policies
Is the G7 Pro wireless on Xbox?
No. On Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One it works wired. Wireless is for PC (2.4 GHz with the included receiver) and Android (Bluetooth). A physical switch on the controller picks the mode.
What are TMR sticks?
GameSir's Mag-Res TMR sticks read the stick position magnetically, like Hall Effect sticks, so there is no rubbing contact to wear into drift. GameSir pairs them with a 12-bit ADC chip for 4,096 levels of position.
Does the gyroscope work on Xbox?
No. GameSir lists the gyroscope as PC only. In GameSir Nexus you can map it to a stick, to buttons or to mouse movement.
How does it charge?
It has a 1200 mAh battery and comes with a charging dock: set it on the dock between sessions, or play wired over USB-C.
Is this the same as the G7 Pro 8K?
No. The G7 Pro 8K is GameSir's PC-only model with 8000 Hz polling. This G7 Pro is the tri-mode model for Xbox, PC and Android, at 1000 Hz on PC.
Is Golden Ombre a different model?
No. It is the same G7 Pro tri-mode controller in a gold-to-black finish, with gold sticks and D-pad. Specifications are the same as the other G7 Pro colours.
