What It Does Well
A Complete Desk Kit
The microphone comes on a shock mount with a pop filter, fixed to a metal boom arm with a desk clamp. A USB cable with Type-A and Type-C ends connects it to a PC or laptop.
One Knob, Three Jobs
The front knob switches between microphone gain, monitor mix and headphone volume. Press and hold it for two seconds to turn on the high-pass filter that cuts low rumble.
Hear Yourself in Real Time
Plug headphones into the 3.5 mm jack on the microphone for zero-latency monitoring, and tap the top to mute instantly. MAONO Link software adds a 5-band EQ and sound effects.

Does it need an audio interface?
No. It is a USB microphone: one cable to the computer carries power and sound. It has no XLR output.
Will it pick up my keyboard?
The cardioid pattern favours sound in front of the capsule and rejects much of the sides and rear. Aim it at your mouth and use the high-pass filter to cut low rumble.
Is software required?
No, it works plug and play. MAONO Link is optional and adds EQ and effects.
