MSI PRO B760M-P DDR4 — four DDR4 slots, two M.2 sockets and three display outputs on B760

A PRO-series Micro-ATX board on the Intel B760 chipset for 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors. It is the rare budget board with four DDR4 slots rather than two, so an existing DDR4 kit carries over and still leaves room to grow to 128 GB. Add two PCIe 4.0 M.2 sockets, a reinforced PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, and VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI together on the back panel.

1

LGA 1700 CPU socket — dead centre

The silkscreen beside it reads PRO B760M-P DDR4 · MS-7E02 VER:1.0. It accepts 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors, and every standard LGA 1700 cooler mount fits without an adapter.

2

4 × DDR4 DIMM slots — right edge

Silkscreened DIMMA1, DIMMA2, DIMMB1 and DIMMB2. Four DDR4 slots on a budget Micro-ATX board is unusual — most drop to two. Dual-channel up to 128 GB, so an old 2-stick kit slots in with room left to double it later.

3

M2_1 under the heatsink — above the graphics slot

The first M.2 socket runs from the CPU and comes with its heatsink already fitted. The silkscreen beside it marks PCIE | SATA, so it takes an NVMe drive or an older M.2 SATA stick.

4

M2_2 beside the chipset — lower right of centre

The second M.2 socket is fed from the chipset and ships bare, without a heatsink. Also marked PCIE | SATA. Two M.2 sockets on this tier means a fast boot drive and a second NVMe without touching a SATA port.

5

PCI_E1 — the reinforced x16 graphics slot

The long metal-shielded slot carries the graphics card. The shielding adds solder anchor points so a heavy triple-fan card does not lever the slot out of the board.

6

PCI_E2 and PCI_E3 — two short x1 slots, lower left

Two spare expansion slots sit clear of the graphics card's cooler, so a capture card, sound card or Wi-Fi card still fits alongside a thick GPU.

7

Chipset heatsink and SATA — right side

A passive black block cools the B760 chipset, with the SATA ports on the board edge beside it. No chipset fan means one less moving part in a machine that runs all day.

8

Business headers — bottom edge

Along the bottom: JTPM1 for Windows 11 security, JRGB1 for 12 V RGB lighting, JLPT1 — an actual parallel-port header — plus JCOM1 serial, two USB 2.0 headers, front-panel audio and the system panel block.

Core Boost power layout

MSI routes CPU current through a premium trace layout and digital power design, delivering it to the socket with less distortion under sustained multi-core load.

Extended VRM heatsink

Unlike the entry H610 boards in the same family, the power stage here sits under a metal heatsink. That matters for a locked 13th or 14th Gen i5 or i7 running every core for long stretches.

Passive chipset cooling

The B760 chipset runs under its own black heatsink block. No chipset fan means nothing to fail or whine in an office machine left on all day.

Frozr AI Cooling

System fan duty follows live CPU and GPU temperature rather than a fixed curve, so the case stays quiet at idle and only ramps when the silicon actually heats up.

Will It Fit Your Build?

Check these before you add to cart
✓

Processor

Any 12th, 13th or 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold or Celeron on LGA 1700.

✓

Memory

DDR4 only — but four slots, dual channel, up to 128 GB. Your existing DDR4 kit carries straight over; DDR5 will not fit.

✓

Storage

2 × M.2 PCIe 4.0 (both also accept M.2 SATA) plus SATA ports for hard drives and 2.5-inch SSDs.

✓

Graphics card

Reinforced PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. Two spare x1 slots stay clear of a thick GPU cooler.

✓

Multi-monitor

VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI together — it drops into an office fleet with mixed old and new displays without adapters.

✓

Case and OS

Micro-ATX fits any mATX or ATX chassis. JTPM1 header on board for Windows 11.

!

No onboard Wi-Fi

Wired Gigabit Ethernet only. Budget for a PCIe or USB Wi-Fi adapter if the machine cannot reach a cable — both x1 slots are free for that.

!

No CPU overclocking

The B760 chipset does not support CPU multiplier overclocking. Memory still runs its rated XMP profile.

Build Q&A

The questions builders actually ask about this board
Why pick this over a two-slot DDR4 board?+
The four DIMM slots. Most budget Micro-ATX boards give you two, which means filling them ends your upgrade path. Here you can run a 2×8 GB kit now and add another pair later, up to 128 GB total, without throwing away the original sticks.
Can I reuse my existing DDR4 memory?+
Yes — that is the point of the DDR4 version. DDR5 modules are keyed differently and will not physically seat, so if you already own DDR4 this board saves you the cost of a new kit entirely.
How many NVMe drives can I install?+
Two. M2_1 runs from the CPU and comes with a heatsink already fitted; M2_2 runs from the chipset and ships bare. Both are marked PCIE | SATA, so each also accepts an older M.2 SATA drive.
Does it have three video outputs?+
Yes — VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI on the rear panel, driven by the processor's integrated graphics. That combination is deliberate for business use: it connects to a new DisplayPort monitor and a decade-old VGA projector without adapters.
Why is there a parallel port header?+
Because this is a PRO-series business board. JLPT1 (parallel) and JCOM1 (serial) headers exist for label printers, point-of-sale terminals and industrial equipment that still use those interfaces. Home builders can simply ignore them.
Can I overclock a K-series CPU?+
No. B760 does not support CPU multiplier overclocking — that requires a Z-series chipset such as Z790. Memory still runs its rated XMP profile.
Is there Wi-Fi on this board?+
No. Networking is wired Gigabit Ethernet only. Both PCIe x1 slots are free, so a PCIe Wi-Fi card fits easily, or a USB Wi-Fi adapter works with no slot at all.
Will a 14th Gen processor work out of the box?+
The board supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors. Depending on the BIOS revision it ships with, a very recent CPU may want a BIOS update — our engineers flash the latest BIOS free of charge when you buy the CPU together with the board.
Does AHW Store update the BIOS before shipping?+
Every motherboard ships sealed in its original retail packaging with the factory BIOS. Our engineers can flash the latest vendor BIOS free of charge on request when you order a CPU with the board, which guarantees first-boot compatibility with the newest supported CPU generation.
What warranty coverage is included?+
All motherboards sold at AHW Store carry the official authorized distributor warranty with local technical support and replacement. Full terms in our Warranty Policy ↗.
What payment and installment plans are available in Egypt?+
Cash on delivery, credit and debit cards, and flexible installment plans through ValU, Sympl, Forsa and bank credit cards. See our Payment & Installments Guide ↗.
How fast is shipping across Egypt?+
Orders are delivered within 2 to 7 business days across all Egyptian governorates, packed in anti-static shielding with shock-protected outer packaging (with pickup available from our 6th of October headquarters). See our Shipping Policy ↗.
Can AHW Store build the complete PC around this motherboard?+
Yes. Our certified engineers assemble, cable-manage, flash BIOS, stress-test and tune the finished system before it ships. Start with our Custom PC Builder ↗.
