Frequently Asked Questions
Technical Details & Policies
How does WireView Pro protect my graphics card from connector melting?
WireView Pro integrates precision current sensors on every individual 12V power pin alongside an embedded temperature probe. If improper contact causes resistance to spike or current to unbalance across pins, WireView detects the thermal and electrical anomaly instantly and alerts the user before damage occurs.
What is the difference between 'Normal' and 'Reverse' 12VHPWR orientation?
'Normal' orientation has the 12VHPWR retaining latch clip oriented toward the graphics card's backplate side. 'Reverse' orientation has the clip facing the cooler heatsink fins. Selecting the correct model ensures the OLED display faces upright and readable inside your case.
Does WireView Pro require software or USB drivers to operate?
No. WireView Pro operates 100% autonomously. It draws minimal power directly from the 12V power rail, processes electrical telemetry through its onboard microcontroller, and outputs real-time voltage, current, and wattage directly to the integrated OLED screen.
Is WireView Pro compatible with the newer 12V-2x6 standard?
Yes. The connector housing and pin architecture are fully backward and forward compatible with both ATX 3.0 12VHPWR and updated ATX 3.1 12V-2x6 high-power cables and power supplies.
Can WireView Pro sustain 600 Watts of continuous power delivery?
Absolutely. Built with heavy-duty 2oz copper PCB traces and high-grade gold-plated alloy contacts, WireView Pro easily handles up to 600W continuous loads with low resistance and negligible voltage drop.
