The second-generation 27-inch QHD ProArt monitor. Its 2560 × 1440 IPS panel refreshes at up to 120Hz with Adaptive-Sync, covers 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 in 10-bit colour with HDR10, and is factory-calibrated to ΔE < 2 and Calman Verified, with the calibration report in the box. The panel turned 90° into portrait on its silver stand column. ASUS rates pivot at ±90°, alongside 0–130 mm of height travel, tilt from +23° to -5° and ±30° swivel, and DisplayWidget Center can rotate the image automatically.

Ribbed Rear Shell and Stand Cable Cut-Out

The rear shell with the ProArt logo, ribbed edges and the panel where the quick-release stand attaches. A cut-out in the stand column guides cables down to the base, the downward-facing ports sit along the lower edge, and the panel also takes a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount.

Both names refer to this monitor: ASUS sells it as the ProArt Display PA278QV Gen2, model number PA278QGV. It is a different product from the original PA278QV: the Gen2 runs at up to 120Hz, covers 95% DCI-P3 with HDR10, and has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and a four-port USB 3.2 hub.

TECH SPECS What do ΔE < 2 and Calman Verified mean?

ΔE measures how far a displayed colour is from its target; below 2 the difference is hard to see. ASUS calibrates the PA278QGV at the factory, puts the pre-calibration report in the box, and the model is Calman Verified, an independent check of that accuracy.

Use DisplayPort. ASUS lists a 48–120Hz range on DisplayPort 1.4 and 48–100Hz on HDMI, so a PC reaches the full 120Hz, with Adaptive-Sync, over the DisplayPort cable included in the box.
