What motherboard socket is required for the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K?
The Core Ultra 7 265K uses the new Socket LGA 1851 and requires an Intel 800-series motherboard (such as Z890, B860, or H810) available in our Motherboards Collection. It is not backward compatible with older LGA 1700 boards.
Why doesn't the Core Ultra 7 265K feature Hyper-Threading?
With Arrow Lake, Intel optimized architectural efficiency by removing simultaneous multi-threading (SMT) on P-cores in favor of much stronger single-thread instructions (Lion Cove) paired with 12 ultra-dense Skymont E-cores. This architecture delivers superior multi-core compute throughput while drastically cutting power draw and thermal output compared to 14th Gen.
What type of cooling is required for 250W Maximum Turbo Power?
