It combines 8 Zen 5 cores and 16 threads — 4.7 GHz base, up to 5.2 GHz boost — with 96 MB of L3 at 120 W, and unlike earlier X3D chips it is unlocked for overclocking. It runs DDR5 up to 256 GB and PCIe 5.0 on Socket AM5. AMD includes no cooler and recommends liquid cooling.
